In
1997 Carlene and some of her friends whom also share
musical interest form the "SHEBANG"
and began touring Japan regularly, since then Carlene
has performed with such bands as Rukshun, Black
Sheep, JMC Trevini, Dilinadan and New York base
DE Platinum Band. She has also performed in Canada,
New York, Cayman Islands, Malaysia, Japan, Miami,
San Francisco, Guyana and in her home land of Trinidad
and Tobago.
In
2003 Carlene sang with JMC Triveni performing her
first Chutney song "Mother -In - Law
Pressure" which captured the Song
of the year and the Peoples Choice Awards. the Song
was also enlisted in the 103fm Hall of Fame.
In
2004 she placed tenth but came back i 2005 to copped
the 3rd place position and then again in 2006 with
her selections "Husband and Wife"
and "Together as One"
.

great hit from Carlene in the very near future
Carlene
sings Indo Caribbean music called Chutney Soca,
Her First Album for Chutney Soca 2007 is called
Maha Shaddie Which Means Dey Marrieding. She just
completed a New Soca Album and Soca Reggae single
together with a Reggae video.
