Jadine
When
you think of an artist who is truly versatile
and talented, the name "Jadine" can
not go with out mention. Hailing from the Emerald
Isle Of the Caribbean, Montserrat, Jadine started
her career as a songstress in 2003, and has
quickly become one of the fastest rising stars
in Soca earning her a nomination as Best New
Female Soca Artist 2005 by the Soca Awards Committee.
When asked about her feelings regarding such
an honor, Jadine, a beautiful, down to earth
and simple woman of humble upbringing states,
"Of course, I see this as a validation
of myself as an artist, but bigger than that,
I see it as an opportunity for my country Montserrat
to be recognized again for our contributions
to Caribbean Music." |

Jadine says it
was her family who first realized her potential. When
She was fourteen they forced her to sing at a her
Aunts wedding. Delightfully laughing at the memory
Jadine says, "I cried the whole time, but by
the time I was eighteen, I was the queen of Karaoke
you could not get a mic out of my hands." Not
surprising, during the past years the demand for a
performance by Jadine has spread throughout the entertainment
industry as:
- Participating in a cultural exhibit on Calypso Music
at the Brooklyn Public Library
- Performing for the Montserrat Progressive Society
of New York's 90th Anniversary Showcase November,
2005 and again November, 2006
-Performing alongside The Great "Singing Sandra"
, KMC, Iwer George, Sparkey and many more great artists..
- Performing and proudly representing Montserrat at
the 2005 NY Caribbean
Tourism Organization Week Celebration which hosted
launch of MTV New Caribbean Channel "TEMPO"
and again in 2006.
Teaming up with Vicrae Management Inc, Jadine is currently

of change. Featured producers include Michelle "
