She has progressed from performing as a vocalist for many
of the premier bands in the Caribbean and England to composing
and arranging her own material for release in her debut
solo project for Carnival 2003. This range from but not
limited to R & B Soca, Pan Songs,, Women Empowerment,
Conscious Awareness, Party Tunes and many more varied styles
of Soca Music. Her exciting debut has confirmed her position
as one of the brightest lights in the entertainment arena
today.

has also travelled extensively, performing at most of the
major Carnivals and festivals worldwide, including, The
U.S.A. and the Caribbean. England, Ireland, France.
She is a highly recognizable and popular entertainer, well
respected by her peers and loved by the general public.
Aside from her 2002 smash Soca hit "Gas", Knycky
is also a highly sought after model regionally and internationally,
and has been in shows under the patronage of the President
and Prime Minister. As a former Miss Trinidad and Tobago
(1991), she was first runner up at the Miss Carival contest
in St. Vincent, displaying a combination of beauty, talent
and intelligence that is absolutely required for this type
of competition. Knycky has also acted in London's channel
4 "Get up Stand up" comedy series, and has been
featured in several music videos and commercials to date.
She has also performed and worked with a number of high
profiled and internationally acclaimed individuals like
Buju Banton, Calypso Rose, Storm, Ronnie McIntosh, Jamoriquay,
Iman and many others. A popular member of 98.9 FM School
Tour during Carnival, Knycky's powerful messages to the
school children of safe sex, AIDS prevention, and drug and
alcohol awareness are as well received as her dynamic performances.
Knycky Cordner is a gifted writer, singer and performer
who is highly motivated to produce outstanding work that
will ensure that long sought after international breakthrough
for Soca music. She is creative, experienced, insightful
and talented. 2003 saw Knycky's re-emergence as a freelance
writer (TIDCO) and as a songwriter for several Soca Artistes.
This has no doubt laid the foundation for a glittering and
successful career that will take her to the stars.
