Lisa
Toney, one of the new faces of Soca music,
born and raised in a small country town in New Hampshire,
USA. Lisa always had a strong passion for music,
but it wasn’t until 2001 when she traveled
to Trinidad and Tobago for carnival that she became
inspired to write and produce her own music. Since
then music has taken a front seat in her life. From
2001 on, she has been in Trinidad for every carnival
season, going to all the fetes, and learning about
the music industry.
Her
music is a combination of Hip Hop, R&B, Soca,
Reggae, and Latin influences. Lisa writes all of
her own material. Her current single Wine on me
closer produced by Sheldon $hel $hock Benjamin has
received tremendous reviews and got her nominated
in three categories in the International Soca Awards
for 2006. |

and Madman Yohan out of Sel Construction sound.
The next track entitled What You Do To Me, produced

with Shawn Noel out of Mastamind production, and
plans on doing a fast soca track by one of Trinidad
and Tobago’s top writers.
