Easter Bun
Ingredients:
1 1/2 ozs margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 talespoon honey
1/2 cup stout
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tspn baking powder
1 egg
4 talespoon raisins
4 talespoon Currants
1 talespoon mixed peel
2 teaspoon mixed spices
Method:
1. Sift flour and baking powder and spices
2. Add beaten egg, fruit and cooled melted mixture.
3. Melt margarine, sugar, honey and stout on a low flame.
4. Mix well.
5. Pour into a greased and lined 1lb tin and bake at
350c for about 45 minutes or until done. |
