Alantonio (Freddy Williams), Creative, Talented and Charismatic, are
just a few words to describe this young force in the field of
entertainment. Alantonio music and entertainment career has spanned
over 20 years of hard work and determination. Perhaps it's his keen
sense of melody and harmony, or maybe the way he delivers a lyric, no
matter, Alantonio and music are congruent, synonymous and certainly
unbreachable. Alantonio is considered as one of the best independent
performers in the business. As a songwriter, he creates articulate
songs for today by sprinkling them with respect for the music of his
youth (Reggae, Soca, R&B, Soul and Funk).

Alantonio singing career started in the church, where he spent his
formative years honoring his craft in Gospel Music. His musical thirst
soon led him to explore all type of music genre, where he discovered
Jimmy Cliff, Harry Belafonte, Sam Cooke and Al Green, the focus of his
musical inspiration. His foray into musical theater and stage started
as a teen, on the Caribbean Island of Montserrat, (along side soca
greats Elvis White and Clarence "Oungku" Edwards), performing his
classical debut hit single "Ah Young Me Young" accompanied by the
legendary soca band, Hammer International.
However, after enjoying early success at the beginning of a promising
musical career, Alantonio at the age of 18 stunned his many fans, by
abruptly quitting secular music, after an energetic performance at the
former Audubon Ballroom in NYC, for what he claimed, was a search for
inner peace and true happiness. Alantonio said that he found that
peace after being enraptured by an exhortation from the legendary "The
Reverend Al Green" of Memphis, Tennessee.
While Alantonio was in his self-imposed secular music exile, he went
on to polish his talents with tenure, working with a prominent
religious organization based in the United States as an organist, and
bible lecturer for over a decade, as he gained much experience
traveling throughout the United States, Canada and many foreign
countries; during this time, refining his craft by utilizing this
opportunity.
In 2003 the boyish face Alantonio, now armed with a newfound sense of
purpose, surprised every one when he started his own record label and
music publishing company. A move that led him back to the recording
studio, where he wound up creating his debut album "Love Somebody," an
appealing mixture of reggae, gospel and calypso beats with
non-offensive rhymes.
Fans and artists, who missed the mild-mannered, British born,
versatile singer/musician from Hartsdale, New York, received the album
very well. His prodigious debut single under the title "Raise a Hand"
was acclaimed, and still earns imposing numbers around the world,
getting to top 10 music charts in the USA and many areas across
Europe. Since that successful "Love Somebody "album, Alantonio has
released 2 more albums. His latest "2Nite" is now a favorite across
Europe, Australia and the Caribbean.
When asked why returning to secular music, after years being away from
the business? Alantonio replies, "How could anyone sit down and not
use the talents that God has given them? Is not singing to people and
making them happy a wonderful thing to do? Well then, after all these
years of being stagnant, as far as my music talents are concerned, I
knew it was only time before I reconsidered the many pleas from
friends and loyal fans, to hit the music stage once more, now that I
am a changed and wiser man". Even though he remains committed to his
religious values, Alantonio has once more become a forceful male solo
act in the Caribbean and World Music. He said this second time around
he is now well prepared and ready for the job, and most of all he
believes he is strong enough to endure the strain of superstardom and
its sinful lure.
