Peter
C Lewis
The
XTATIK lead vocalist 's first major appearance on stage
was as part of the Bread Boys, a vocal group from San
Fernando that made quite an impact back in the mid-eighties.
Lewis
is also one of the group's musical directors, his vocals
and good looks made him a favourite with the girls. Even
then, still a teenager, Lewis portrayed impressive skill
as a composer and vocal arranger.
Later
on, Lewis joined the frontline of Massive Chandileer,
performing alongside Ronnie McIntosh. He
proved to be a good sidekick for the energetic McIntosh
and during that stint established himself as one of the
best vocalists on the soca circuit.
As
a member of Atlantik, Lewis took his career to another
level as he contributed to the production of the band's
original music. Here
he was, a part of one of the most popular soca bands in
the world, but Lewis had other dreams he wished to pursue.
One
of his dreams came through the day he became a member
of the Xtatik soca band. He found himself at home among
lifelong friends such as Machel Montano and Farmer Nappy.
In
his time at Xtatik, Lewis has developed further as a singer
and musician, contributing to much of the band's music.
Apart
from music, Lewis also shoots and produces music videos,
documentaries and other programmes.
