ROY CAPE & the Kaiso All Stars

This fifteen member music band is famous for the exquisite quality of the phrasing, harmony and tonality of the five piece horn section; first and second trumpets; alto and tenor saxes and trombone.

The horn section has been dubbed "the meanest in the world", and has earned the distinctive title "The best Calypso band in the world".

For fifteen odd years Roy Cape and his dedicated band of musicians, set the standard for calypso music as the resident band at calypso's Spektakular Forum in Trinidad and Tobago. After twelve years backing the top calypsonians in the world, the All Stars were engaged to be the heart of a touring calypso group called Kisiddee Karavan.

Over the past two decades, the Kaiso All Stars under the direction of Roy Cape, went on to earn the reputation of being the most sought after brass band in the recording studios, calypso shows, and major concerts. Not just in Trinidad & Tobago, but throughout the rest of the Caribbean, the United States of America, Canada, England and Europe.
