Skhi

Born on the 12th Feb 1971 to the name Dwayne Arthur and a lover of music from an early age, SKHI entered school competitions where he always placed in the first three. At age ten he was already composing ballads and singing along to his favourite songs on the radio. At age eighteen SKHI and his friend entered the popular 'Party Time' competition on Trinidad and Tobago Television doing a dance routine, and placed third.

At age twenty, SKHI was a front line singer with MVOICE where he stayed for one year. He then joined with Mark Jiminez to form Ataklan, singing Rapso music, but parted ways to become an independent artiste after two years. He also did work on the road with Roy Cape All Stars for a Carnival season.

He's now singing under the name S.K.H.I. which stands for 'Science Is Knowledge That Heightens Intelligence'. In 2006 he sang 'FIND AH WAY', 2007'ADDICTIVE' and for 2008'DESIRE AND VAMPIRES' Both songs are doing really good this year and SKHI sees DESIRE as his hit. SKHI made a solid impact in Miami for the 2k7 MIA carnival sweeping the stage with an electrifying performance at the popular University Fete, the Black and White Fete and the all new FRIENDS party. His music deals mostly on Social issues and love. SKHI's hobbies include reading, soccer, going to the beach and movies and listening to all varities of music.
