REGGAE SUNDAYS RETURNS WITH WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH TRIBUTE
Brooklyn, NY - Reggae Sundays returns on Sunday March 23rd with a special tribute for Women’s History Month.
The musical tribute will pay homage to the many women that have made strides throughout history. Reggae
Sundays Women’s History Month tribute will take place at the all new LOX Lounge located at 15 Putnam Avenue
in Fort Greene Brooklyn. The weekly dance party has been hailed as “the revival” of the New York reggae scene.
Original Reggae Sundays features an all-star line up of New York’s premiere djs including DJ Silence of 107.9
Flava FM, Natural Mystik of 95.9FM and DJ Jase of Pointblank Sound. Reggae Sundays has also hosted many
live performers including top reggae artist Ky-Enie, Barbadian songstress Toni Norville and Riddim Nation.
Reggae Sundays plays a special blend of roots, culture and new reggae classics. It is the type of music that has
propelled reggae into the forefront of world culture," noted the producers of The Original Reggae Sundays. Music
can be enjoyed from artist such as Tanya Stephens, Rita Marley, Dawn Penn, Diana King, Janet Kay, Marcia
Griffiths, Nadine Sutherland, Sister Nancy and many more.
