'FESTIVAL OF LIFE' COMES TO CHI-TOWN

Dancehall star Cham slated to perform at Festival of Life
on Saturday, July 5th in Chicago
NEW YORK, NY (RHONA FOX, INC.) - Junior Reid, Beenie Man, Baby Cham and Gregory Isaacs are among the acts for the 16th Annual African/Caribbean International Festival of Live (IFOL), set for July 3-6 in Chicago. From 10am to 10pm daily, festival goers can enjoy music, food and a melting of cultures. The event will take place at Washington Park, located at 55th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
Dedicated to Health Awareness, this year's staging of the IFOL will feature two stages, an international and a gospel/educational stage, showcasing the best in reggae, calypso, soca, Latin, African, gospel, spoken word, jazz, blues, Haitian and other world-beat music.
"It's an amazing family celebration of bringing nations together," states IFOL producer, Ephraim Martin. IFOL 2008 promises to be a smash for fans with top reggae and dancehall acts Beenie Man and Cham, along with nearly a 100 other performers on the bill for the four-day festival.
