Monday July 14th, 2008 - Soca star Ricky T took the Power Soca Monarch crown at Saturday nights competition in Mindoo Phillip Park, St Lucia by a decisive 13 points.  Judging from the crowds reaction to his performance, there was no questioning the announcement made at the end of the night.
