DC Caribbean Carnival official event schedule announced

Washington, DC - Wednesday May 20th, 2009 - DCCC Inc. has announced its official schedule and entertainment line-up for the 17th Annual DC Caribbean Carnival taking place June 20th to June 28th.

Festivities are to kick off with 'Pan Jam' and 'Dimanche Gras' happening at Crossroads Entertainment Complex (June 20th and 21st) before climaxing the following weekend with a street parade on Saturday June 27th and official afterparty (Festival In the Park) at Banneker Park (which is being dubbed 'The Savannah'). The cool down event takes place on Sunday June 28th with a 'Concert & Family Day' back at Banneker Park.
