Tarah's up for 'Best New Soca Artists' of 2009

It’s just been over one (1) year that Tarah’s focus changed dramatically to be marketed as a recording artist and already, she’s reaping benefits.
In January 2009 she along with Anderson “Blood” Armstrong copped the award for Best Collaboration for the song “Dis is Fete” at the Barbados Music Awards (BMA’s). Now, she’s up for Best Music Video of the Year at the 2010 BMA’s for her tagged video Push Back/Love De Carnival. Tarah’s video is the only local video amongst two (2) international ones competing in this category. It is also the first tagged video ever to be produced in Barbados. The video has been dubbed by major international players as one of the best coming from the Caribbean in terms of its high quality, standard and creativity and is currently viewed on networks such as BETJ, Tempo and CBS amongst others.
Tarah has been recently nominated for Best New Soca Artist at the International Soca Awards to be held in Turks & Caicos on October 30, 2009. She’s been nominated in this category for her track “All Nite” produced by Dwain Antrobus and written by “Romel “Sanctuary”.
We encourage all of Tarah’s fans to vote for your Caribbean Princess at www.socaawards.com.
