Toronto's own Dr JAY & Toronto-Lime.com amongst the winners at the 2006 International Soca Awards.

The 4th Annual International Soca Awards took place on Friday (September 8th) and as expected, Machel Montano, Destra Garcia and Shurwayne Winchester were the runaway favorites, each taking home multi awards.

Another 'non-surprise' was the 'Best Soca Soccer Song' category won by Maximus Dan for 'Fighter' (TnT's World Cup Anthem). Maximus also won for 'Best Gospelypso Song' with 'God Army'.

Amongst the winners were Toronto's own Dr JAY, who copped 'International Soca DJ of the Year' for the 2nd time in a row and Toronto-Lime.com was honoured with 'Favorite Soca Info Website'. Below is a full list of award winners.
