THE INTERNATIONAL SOCA AWARDS FOUNDER/C.E.O Trinidad & Tobago native, entrepreneur COLIN JACKMAN ARTIST FORMERLY KNOWN AS CJ has change his stage name to "THE C.E.O". He is hot & ready to sing, perform and mash up the party’s once again.

In an interview with Mr. Jackman he said for the past few years his friends keep calling he THE C.E.O, that’s were the name came from and the fans, staff and fellow artist keep saying it's time to get back in the game (on stage). Well the time has come, 2008 I’m back look out for “THE C.E.O”.

He took a brake from singing in 2003 after winning the Arima Calypso Monarch competition with the tune “When Ah Mother Cry”, to give 100% of his time to produce the 1st red carpet Soca Awards at Soca Arena in Brooklyn, NY. In 2004 the Soca Awards was held in Brooklyn at the Glamorous Eden Palace. The government of Trinidad and Tobago invited the Soca Awards Organization in 2005 to stage the 3rd annual Soca Awards at Queens Hall in the beautiful twin islands. The awards ceremony was registered and trademarked as the International Soca Awards (iSA) showing the world that Mr. Jackman is committed to take his craft to an international platform. The 4th annual International Soca Awards was back in New York City. In 2006 he launched a TV show titled “SOCA TV” on channel 68 BCAT in Brooklyn and formed a record label “SOCA RECORDS”. 2007 the white carpet iSA was held at RUM JUNGLE night club in Queens, NY.

In 2006 Mr. Jackman was awarded the U & I Award in New York City by Ms. Monica Sanchez, CEO of CCNMGI & CIP Org., for his key leadership role towards the Upliftment and Improvement of Caribbean Culture and Soca music; this award was presented by actor & humanitarian Danny Glover.

The ceremony is going on its 6th year and is growing to be the biggest award ceremony. With the hard work and dedication of the Soca Awards Organization, the dream of taking Soca to Higher Heights is truly becoming a reality.

Now the iSA is no longer a baby, there is more time for THE C.E.O to focus on his music. The new Cd is titled "Play Mas & Party". This Cd is to raise funds for the iSA in 2008.

Mr. Jackman hands are filed, he is the president of the street team promotion “D’ CELEBRITIES”. For carnival 2008 in the mas band DREAM TEAM CARNIVAL “D’ CELEBRITIES” have a section called Soca & Calypso. The C.E.O is really out to play mas & party.
