Mango
Chow
(Can replaced with any desired fruit;
eg. Pomerac, Pommecythere, Apple, etc)
Ingredients:
6 half-ripe mangoes
3-4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 Bandania (Cilantro) leaves
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
2 congo peppers (more is desired hot)
Method:
1 Wash and peel the mangoes
2. Slice the fruit into small pieces
3. Place the sliced fruits into a medium mixing bowl.
4. Add salt, sugar, black pepper, vinegar, garlic, cilantro
and congo pepper.
5. Use a spoon to mix the fruit with the added ingredients
or cover the bowl and shake vertically.
6. Leave to stand for about 15 minutes. |
